Discipleship at St. John

You are invited to join the community of St. John as we study God’s Word and serve our neighbors as Christ first served us. Whether you are looking to spend time in Bible Study or are seeking opportunities to help your community, there are options for you!

FALL 2022: St. John has a long history of studying the Scripture in community and Bible Study. We invite you to participate in a variety of our different study options:

CONFERENCE ROOM, SUNDAYS - 9:45: This Sunday morning offering is focused on the theme, “Walking with Jesus and His Disciples.” Using Scripture, videos, and discussion, this class dives into the Jewish customs and way of life which Jesus and his disciples followed, further deepening our understanding of the Christ.

KAIROS ROOM, MONDAYS - 1 PM: Women’s Prayer and Bible Study. This Bible study covers a variety of topics, themes, books of the Bible, Christian books, and movies. All women are invited to join.

KOINONIA HALL (Gym), 2ND TO LAST SATURDAY EACH MONTH - 8 AM: Men’s Ministry. This Bible study and fellowship opportunity is a chance for all our men to come together, share breakfast, and study the Word together. Our next Men’s Ministry gathering will be May 21. Men of all ages are welcome to attend.

One of the Adult Bible Studies is currently using The Gospel Project for Adults, that follows along with both The Gospel Project for Students and The Gospel Project for Kids used by our Youth and Children’s Ministries.

You are invited to come early for coffee, doughnuts and conversation starting at 9:30am in Koinonia Hall (gym).

“MONUMENTAL” FAMILY SUNDAY SCHOOL

SUNDAYS | JUNE-AUGUST | 10:45 AM : Children (grades Pre/K-5) and their families are invited to join our Family-based VBS-themed Sunday School on Sundays after worship. Children have the opportunity to explore God’s Word using music, video, activities, crafts and more in a fun and safe environment. This a great opportunity for families to come together around fun, faith-based activities to strengthen discipleship.

We also invite any youth and adults to come by and help out and get plugged in. Inter-generational relationships are central for lasting, strong discipleship, and you may learn a few things along the way as well!

Gather in the Downstairs Preschool Room.
