St. John Community Meals
Meal information
If you will be affected by the suspension of SNAP benefits, we want to help make sure you still have access to food and meals! St. John Lutheran Church will be offered a free meal each weeknight from 5:30-6:30PM, beginning Monday, November 3.
Meals will be offered on the following days; we will re-evaluate the need/ministry after these dates to determine if more meals are needed:
Monday, November 10 - Tuesday, November 11
Meals will be provided in the front parking lot in a to-go format, as well as water and some snacks. Depending on the weather, some tables and chairs will be available for you to eat on site. You are welcome to grab-n-go or stay and eat, whichever you prefer!
While not necessary, to help us ensure we have enough food, we have a simple RSVP form that you can fill out by clicking here. This simply allows us to have a rough estimate of how much food to prepare each night. If you can fill out this form, our volunteers greatly appreciate it!
Volunteer info
We will need as many extra hands as possible to help serve each meal. You can sign up to serve by clicking this link here.
Even if you are able to only help out for a portion of the time, we welcome the help! Kids and families are welcome to plug in as well.
If you need more information, or require assistance navigating the Sign Up Portal, please reach out to DCE David Schrampfer (david@stjohnlc.com)
