“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up. . .”
Age 60 or older? Interested in learning, getting to know others at St. John, finding ways to volunteer, and growing together in faith and community? Join us for a monthly event at St. John! Bring a friend!
Since May 2025 St. John Senior Connections has connected our church, members and resources with St. John participants and Clark County residents over age 60 to build Christian faith and relationships, encourage and support individuals in their daily challenges, and have fun! The monthly event facilitates connections and support for everyday life.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the program start time to register and find a seat of your choice! It’s also a good time to meet and mingle with new and returning friends!

Thursday, December 4, Who is our Neighbor? RSVP here.
Each year Clark County surveys citizens to identify the greatest needs among residents. The 2024 survey indicates food insecurity, houselessness, and building financial assets are top challenges. During our panel we will have guests from the Clark County Food Bank, Council for the Homeless and Family Promise discuss causes of these challenges, as well as efforts underway in Clark County to address them. Together we will learn and have opportunity to consider how we can be supportive as we get to know “Who is our Neighbor?”After the panel we will have an Advent/Christmas luncheon, and continue our theme of Who is our Neighbor with Arleen Keyne reading “The Story of the Other Wise Man,” a Christmas carol sing, and visitation by the Three Wise Men, led by Scott Thurman. RSVP today and invite a friend, or neighbor!
