About IM Youth

Welcome to Immeasurably More! The name of our youth ministry comes from Ephesians 3, where Paul prays that the people of God would know and love the God who can do immeasurably more than we can imagine. That is the same prayer that we lift up for all our students who participate in Immeasurably More (IM).

Rather than a traditional, weekly youth group format, IM follows a more flexible schedule. You can learn more about various events and activities below! We look forward to seeing you soon!

Unless otherwise specified, IM is open to all students in grades 7-12.

If you are coming for your first time, welcome! We know checking out a new group and/or church can be intimidating, so we have specific events designed to help make your first time attending less nerve-wracking! Check below to find an event that you are comfortable coming to for the first time. We are glad to have you!

Confirmation class

Confirmation is an excellent opportunity for students and parents to learn and study the foundational tenets of the Christian faith, explore their Baptismal identity in Christ and begin developing habits of prayer, worship, service and devotion. Rather than a “graduation” of sorts, we believe that Confirmation is simply one step along a lifelong journey of trusting, following and growing in Christ.

Our Confirmation Class consists of 14, two hour sessions on Sunday afternoons every other week. Each session lasts from 12:30-2:30PM, and a light lunch is provided each class. Because parents are the primary and most influential teacher of the faith to their children, we require at least one parent to attend each session. We also recognize that kids come at a variety of developmental ranges at this age, so we encourage parents to talk with your child prior to registering for class to gauge interest and ability. You can download our Confirmation Readiness sheet to serve as a guide to assess if your student is ready for confirmation.

Registration for Confirmation Class is currently closed, but will open again for the 2025-2026 year in the summer of 2025.

2025 National youth gathering

Every three years, tens of thousands of high school students from across the country converge for five days of worship, Bible study, service, fellowship and discipleship at the LCMS National Youth Gathering (NYG). The NYG is an amazing, once in a lifetime opportunity for youth to experience the goodness of Jesus alongside their peers and awesome adult leaders. In 2025, the National Youth Gathering will take place in New Orleans, Louisiana. Students are eligible to attend the NYG if they meet any one of the following four criteria:

-14 years old by July 18, 2025

-Entering 9th grade

-In 9th-12th grade

-Previously graduated 12th grade in the Spring of 2025

*Note about cost: Budgeting was based on our 2022 Gathering numbers, which were abnormally large due to our group size. It is likely the cost will be decreased as our final count is finalized. However, it is better to aim high than too low.*
